Completion of a substantial garden room, re-sited kitchen, internal improvements, shower room extension and extensive external hard landscaping on a large detached Grade 2 listed cottage.
Bear Builders were asked to ‘step in’ and complete this project which was started by another contractor. This included the completion of a large oak framed garden room, remodelling nearly the whole ground floor and adding a small extension to the rear.
Working to tight timescales, this project required Bear Builders to make full use of its local sub-contractor and supplier network.
A number of key features, such as an underfloor heating system, cast iron rainwater goods, sunning lighting, quality limestone flooring and beautiful kitchen all meant that an exceptional finish was achieved.
We were asked to return and carry out a 2nd phase of work which included removal of an old car port, new gravel drive way, retaining walls, stone steps and over 150sqm of natural stone patio. Our electricians also installed an array of outdoor lighting and power outlets around the property.
